DEDICATE A COMPUTER TO EDITING
Video editing can be fun with the right hardware and software. Otherwise, it can be a long frustrating ordeal. For serious video buffs, it is essential to have hardware dedicated to editing.Editing software takes up a lot of memory space let alone raw video footage, the bigger the memory, the better. Limited memory space may cause the editing software to hang, and ultimately lead to unwanted crashes. It is ideal to have two Hard Drives for back up.It is not necessary for novice videographers to have a dedicated computer to editing. It is wise however to always save footage or video material externally. A cramped Hard Drive may cause some serious problems for other applications.
