The Non Linear Editing is quickly gaining in popularity due to advances in technology, pricing, and product availability, this video editing technique utilizes the computer environment to aid in the editing process.

The entire process is almost entirely digital and utilizes no mechanical functions with exception of course to the input of the video sources and its final output to Tape or CD. Editing in this environment in essence is a visual Cut-and-Paste method. Here using the computer technology you can add effects, video transitions and other things to improve the Final Output.

NOTE: Linear and Non-Linear video editing techniques can be combined,
